The Faculty of Sociology and Community Development represents a community that is proud of its history and will continue to be involved in striving to become a center of excellence in education and research. We are committed to developing the faculty to be one of the best training organizations, which will train future leaders responsibly and believe that graduates can not only make a difference in their respective communities but also in a broader social context with a foundation of good education along with values and ethics.
At the faculty, we believe that the most important resources are professors and students. We believe in the diversity of backgrounds, knowledge, skills, experiences and personalities that lead us to future success, and the driving force behind the faculty is the training of talented students. Therefore, highly qualified professors in the faculty represent the faculty’s commitment to bringing knowledge and learning to the forefront and the support staff strives to provide state-of-the-art facilities to the faculty, lecturers, staff and all students.
Because student success is our pride, we are currently implementing a six-year World Bank-funded education improvement project to invest in infrastructure development (such as classrooms and environments, new buildings, research facilities, libraries, study areas, etc.) reform in Curriculum, education system and governance so that we continue to deliver on the promises made to our students, community and society.
We are proud of the successes and achievements of each individual. There is no better time than joining a faculty as we strive to achieve more with the ever-evolving curriculum to train students to meet future skill needs of workforce. Encourage professors and researchers to promote research that supports the development of the North-West Cambodia.
Therefore, I respectfully invite parents and students to join us in the journey towards excellence and the desire to achieve a different education.
