In the morning of May 2, 2025 at 8:00 AM, National University of Battambang (NUBB), in collaboration with the Battambang Provincial Public Service Department, organized a workshop on the topic “Preparation for the Qualification Examination for New Civil Service Employees and the Benefits of Civil Service Employees until Retirement” presented by Mr. Nguon Yu, Director of the Battambang Provincial Public Service Department. The workshop was attended by nearly 400 students with various majors such as law, public administration and governance, economics and taxation, Khmer literature, community and regional development, psychology, economics and data science, agricultural economics, and other majors from the first to the fourth year. The workshop was held at the Mohanokor Conference Hall for 3 hours with a lot of questions and answers, with great interest from students who wish to become civil servants in the future. Finally, students expressed the need for more such workshops to learn about the experience, as well as specific procedures and mechanisms to pass the civil service exam, and the rules and benefits that civil servants can receive while serving until retirement.
