On Saturday, March 15, 2025, the National University of Battambang organized an awareness workshop on “Education and Awareness on Prevention of Dangers Caused by Illegal Drug Use, Tobacco Products, Electronic Cigarettes, and Road Traffic Accidents for Students of the National University of Battambang” under the presidency of Dr. SAM Rany, Vice Rector, and high representative of H.E. SOK Khorn, Rector of the National University of Battambang, in collaboration with the the Anti-Drug Department and Traffic Division of the Battambang Provincial Traffic Police.
The awareness workshop was attended by leadership, officers, staff, and first-year undergraduate students of the National University of Battambang, along with specialized officers from the Anti-Drug Department and Traffic Division of the Battambang Provincial Traffic Police. The workshop aimed to promote understanding about:
- The effects of drugs
- Road traffic laws
- Reduction of road traffic accidents
