On Tuesday 18th February 2025, the Graduate School of the National University of Battambang conducted a series of the academic workshop on the topic “The Asian EMI Corpus: Capturing and Contextualizing EMI Classroom Discourse” for the undergraduate and graduate students. The workshop was presided over by Mr. Tep Neavea, vice-rector and high representative of His Excellency Sok Khorn, Rector of the National University of Battambang. This workshop aimed to share the insights into the Asian EMI corpus and its challenges to teaching and learning students in EMI programs. The workshop also introduced the participants to the research concepts of EMI to inform policy in Cambodia. Over 100 participants joined this fruitful event.
