On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), in collaboration with the National University of Battambang (NUBB) under the GHSP FF3 and ACT projects, organized the event “World Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Awareness Week 2024” under the global theme: “Educate, Support, and Take Action Now.”

This event was held under the high patronage of Mr. TIENG Morin, Vice-Rector and Representative of His Excellency SOK Khorn, Rector of the National University of Battambang. The event was attended by officials from various key institutions, including the General Directorate of Animal Health and Production of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries; the Directorate of Communicable Disease Control (CDC) of the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia; professors; and approximately 170 students from the National University of Battambang.
