Ten students from the National University of Battambang have been awarded scholarships to participate in a month-long internship at Guilin University of Electronic Technology in China. The internship, taking place from September 1 to September 30, 2024, is part of a program funded by the Chinese Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center under the Ministry of Education of China. The program, hosted by Guilin University of Electronic Technology, aims to deepen students’ understanding of Chinese culture, enhance their communication skills, and provide them with a foundational knowledge of the Chinese language.

This initiative aligns with the National University of Battambang’s curriculum, which requires students to engage in internships both domestically and internationally. The Confucius Institute at the National University of Battambang is coordinating the project, which includes a total of 16 students—10 from the National University of Battambang and 6 from National Meanchey University.
