On the afternoon of Friday, July 19, 2024, with the support of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Cambodian-Chinese Evolution Researchers Association, The National University of Battambang co-organized a seminar on “Global Civilization Initiative – Pillars of Community Building for the Common Destiny of Humanity” by Dr. Chea Munyrith, President of the Cambodian-Chinese Evolution Researchers Association. This seminar was presided over by His Excellency SOK Khorn, Rector of the National University of Battambang and Mr. Lu Qizhi, Consulate General of the Chinese Embassy in Siem Reap. On the occasion of this seminar, H.E. Rector thanked the Chinese side, especially the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and the Cambodian-Chinese Evolution Researchers Association, which has always supported and the participation of any university’s activities as well as honored as the guest speaker. Mr. Lu Qizhi, Consulate General of the Chinese Embassy in Siem Reap, expressed that this was his second visit to the National University of Battambang and this seminar was important for exploring the four initiatives such as the Belt and Road Initiative, the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative and the Global Civilization Initiative. This seminar was attended by about 350 of the university’s leaders, teachers, staff and students.
