On Saturday, July 13, 2024,
the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Education of the National University of Battambang led the third-year Architecture students to conduct
a 3-days research in the cultural and historical area of Siem Reap province.
This research was conducted in accordance with the educational program of architecture
and the annual action plan of the college, focusing on the practical implementation of students in the field.
The students focused on the “Prohm Kel Temple” located in the Angkor Wat temple complex for their research.
They also attended presentations by architects and archaeologists of the APSARA Authority who have expertise in temple risk maps.
This allowed the students to gain knowledge in the management, conservation, and development of Heritage areas.
The data collected during this research will be used to prepare reports.
