On March 25 2023, the Faculty of Sociology and Community Development of the National University of Battambang (NUBB) organized dissemination workshop on “Impacts of Covid-19 on Higher Education Students: Economic, Socio-Cultural, and Psychological Approach ” with the honorable presence of Mr. Tep Neavea, Vice-Rector of the National University of Battambang, under the Covid 19.2 project funded by L’Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF). The project is implemented by the Faculty Sociology and Community Development of National University of Battambang (NUBB) and co-implemented by Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) and the Royal University of Fine Arts (RUFA). 500 researchers; representatives of provincial departments; NGOs working in education, children and Covid-19; students from high schools and NUBB attended the event. The purpose of this workshop is to present the results of research on the impact of Covid-19 on students’ learning, documentary video and projects of organizations working on Covid-19 and education. This workshop also hosts a roundtable discussion on education policies and COVID-19 for researchers, and students to raise awareness of the effects of COVID-19 on the economic, socio-cultural and psychological aspects, and their learning.
