On the afternoon of Monday June 27, 2022, The Rector of the National University of Battambang (NUBB) warmly welcomed the delegates from Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) led by Ms. Shin Hojin, KOICA’s Volunteer Program Manager, to discuss Korean education situation at NUBB as well as to warmly welcome two new KOICA’s volunteers, Ms. Song Min Kyoung and Ms. kang Pyoung Hwa, to work in the Department of Korean of the Institute of Foreign Languages of NUBB. The Department of Korean has run Bachelor of Arts in Korean Literature since 2008 with the strong support from KOICA. In this bachelor program, students have studied with native Korean lecturers and have had chances to study in NUBB’s partner universities in Korea as exchange students.
