Memorandum of Understanding between the National University of Battambang and Philipps-Universität Marburg (UM), Germany
In the afternoon of Wednesday June 29th, 2022, the National University of Battambang had signed a memorandum of understanding with Philipps-Universität Marburg (UM), Germany.
This MOU was presided over by His Excellency SOK Khorn, rector of the National University of Battambang. Philipps-Universität Marburg (UM) and National University of Battambang aim to promote cooperation in the fields of education and research particularly, but not exclusively in the field of peace and conflict studies, agree to the following:
• to encourage exchange visits in the following categories: undergraduate and graduate students in peace studies, faculty researchers, staff and lecturers who will carry out teaching and/or scholarly research, including joint research projects in the field of peace and conflict studies, and other fields agreed by both parties.
• to exchange information and materials in those fields that are of interest to both universities, in particular about curricula in peace and conflict studies, and other fields agreed by both parties.
• to facilitate negotiations and arrangements made by faculty members or faculties in the accomplishment of the above exchanges, and
• to review the status of the cooperation arrangements every four years for possible modification, clarification or termination.
