On the afternoon of 15 September 2021, H.E. Sok Khorn, Rector of National University of Battambang (NUBB), and senior management attended an international forum on “The Establishment of the China-ASEAN Alliance of Universities for Electronic Information Innovation”, organized by Guilin University of Electronic Technology. This international forum was attended by many universities in China, ninty higher education institutions in ASEAN and another thirty-one private companies. Remarkably, NUBB was elected as a council member of the alliance whose main purposes are to enhance international collaboration in the field of electronic information and innovation among involved universities and to promote the policies of Digital Silk Road in Asia. As a council member of the alliance, H.E. Sok Khorn noted that NUBB will actively participate in the China-ASEAN Alliance of Universities for Electronic Information Innovation project to promote the Digital Silk Road in Cambodia.
