Project Aims: GREENCAP aims to do so by developing academic and non-academic human resources in the Higher Education (HE) sector, by enhancing the quality and relevance of Higher Education curricula related to green economy, and by engaging various stakeholders from all sectors, thereby also promoting the overall policy dialogue on green economy. This way, it contributes effectively to the selected Capacity Building objectives.
The proposal covers Category 3: Developing the HE Sector within society at large, having as priority
University-Enterprise cooperation. Against the background of Cambodia’s
environmental challenges (by garment/textiles and tourism industry), the proposal plausibly explains its
rationale, i.e. linking the demands for greening the development strategies as promoted by
the Higher Education Institutions, and doing so in close cooperation with the private sector.
